Against compensation for Parliamentarians

A civil organization has lodged a complaint with the Bribery Commission, calling for an immediate investigation into the compensation allegedly received by Members of Parliament and former MPs. The complaint concerns payments made by the government for properties that were torched or damaged during the ‘Aragalaya’ protests in 2022, as well as the overall compensation granted to them.
