BOC-SLIM introduce Multi Currency Travel Card to marketing professionals



Bank of Ceylon (BOC) has joined hands with the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) to introduce the BOC Multi-Currency Travel Card, free of charge for SLIM members who travel frequently for professional and personal engagements. 

The partnership was officially announced at World Marketing Forum 2025, held recently at Mount Lavinia Hotel, marking a progressive step in empowering Sri Lanka’s marketing fraternity with smarter, safer travel solutions.

Designed to offer unmatched convenience and security, the BOC Multi-Currency Travel Card enables the users to load up to five international currencies, ensuring smooth financial transactions across borders. The card is further enhanced with a backup card facility, guaranteeing uninterrupted access during travel and includes complimentary travel insurance coverage of up to US $ 250,000, strengthening its value proposition for frequent travellers.

At the official handover ceremony, BOC Chairman Kavinda de Zoysa together with Acting General Manager/CEO Y.A. Jayathilake, DGM International Treasury and Investment G.A. Jayashantha and Chief Manager International Division Rasika de Silva presented the symbolic card to SLIM President Prof. Jayantha N. Dewasiri. Through this partnership, BOC and SLIM reaffirm their commitment to elevating financial convenience, safety and global mobility for professionals on the move.
