Sanjeev Gardiner appointed as Taprobane Holdings Chairman

Sanjeev Gardiner was appointed as the Chairman of Taprobane Holdings PLC (TAP) with effect from December 4, 2015.

His appointment comes in the wake of CHC Investments (Pvt.) Ltd, an investment vehicle owned by a consortium of investors, buying a 31 percent stake in TAP this August.

CHC Investment is an entity jointly controlled by Sanjeev Gardiner, Ajith Devasurendra and the Hirdaramani group.

The other Directors of TAP are Ajith Devasurendra (Deputy Chairman), Harsha Amarasekera, P.D.J. Fernando, D.W.P. Upali, R.P. Pathirana, Sarinda Unbamboowe and P.D. Rodrigo.
