StanChart appoints Clement Isack as Director, Head of Markets and Sales

Standard Chartered Sri Lanka has appointed Clement Isack as Director, Head of Markets and Sales, effective May 9, 2025. 

In his new role, Clement will join the country management team and lead the development and implementation of the bank’s overall strategy and growth initiatives for markets and sales in Sri Lanka.

Clement brings over 30 years of extensive experience in risk management solutions and banking operations to Standard Chartered. Of his impressive career, 27 years have been dedicated to financial markets and sales across states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, where he built a sterling reputation for driving growth and fostering innovation.

Prior to joining Standard Chartered, Clement served as Executive Director Global Markets Sales at First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC, Dubai, UAE. Throughout his distinguished career, Clement has held senior leadership positions at several prestigious financial institutions, including First Gulf Bank, Deutsche Bank AG, Barclays Bank PLC, Calyon and HSBC Bank Middle East, Dubai. In these roles, he successfully led diverse teams in treasury and capital markets, guiding them toward sustainable development and exceptional performance.

As a Certified Treasury Professional from the Association of Financial Professionals, USA, Clement has consistently demonstrated expertise across key areas of financial markets products, corporate treasury, client strategies and governance.
