Saram Auto and Marine Solutions win National Industry Brand Excellence Awards

Saram Auto Industries and Saram Marine Solutions have been honoured as the Best National Industry Brand – Small Scale in the Maritime and Shipping Related Industry Sector at National Industry Brand Excellence Awards 2024. 

The award ceremony, organised by the Industrial Development Board under the Industries Ministry, was held recently in Colombo.

In addition to these awards, Saram Marine Solutions was also honoured with the CNCI Achiever Award, reflecting its outstanding contributions to the marine manufacturing sector.

Established in 1974, Saram Auto Industries has been providing marine products and services to local and international clients for over five decades. Its head office and factory are located at No. 7/A, Mankuliya Road in Negombo. 

The company has built a solid reputation by offering reliable service and practical innovation. Its repair yard handles services such as propeller filling, anti-fouling painting, fibre repairs, engine repairs and general boat maintenance. 

The company’s product range includes marine propellers, line haulers, net haulers, rudder systems and stern gear. It also imports marine engines, compasses, navigation tools, steering systems, hydraulic pumps, engine spare, and safety equipment. 

Saram Marine Solutions, located at No. 32, Mankuliya Road, Negombo focuses on manufacturing longline fishing boats for both the local and export markets. 

The company also engages in the import, export and distribution of marine spare parts and equipment essential to the fishing and boating industries. With a team of over 25 professionals, including skilled engineers and technicians, the company prioritises customised service and constant technical advancement to meet global standards.
