Pulsar N160 features unmatched technology

Bajaj Pulsar N160, marketed and distributed in Sri Lanka by David Pieris Motor Company (Pvt.) Ltd, has cemented its position as the technologically advanced sports motorcycle in the country.

Blending breakthrough performance, striking design and unmatched rider-focused features, Pulsar N160 is redefining the sports motorcycle landscape.

From Asia to Latin America and right here in Sri Lanka, Pulsar has crossed the milestone of 20 million motorcycles sold globally, redefining performance and trust on every road.

What makes Pulsar N160 stand apart is its impressive range of technical advancements. Safety and control are taken to new heights with the introduction of a dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System, the first in the 160cc category in Sri Lanka. This system is complemented by a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, offering superior stopping power and ensuring confident handling in sudden stops, unpredictable traffic or challenging road conditions.

The N160 Premium variant also elevates versatility with three distinct ride modes – Rain, Road and Off-road – each adjusting throttle response and ABS intrusion levels to provide an optimised riding experience for different environments.

Technology is at the rider’s fingertips with an advanced full digital instrument cluster equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. The console displays instant and trip-wise average fuel efficiency, distance to empty, turn-by-turn navigation and mobile alerts such as incoming calls and notifications.

Night riding is transformed with the inclusion of a bi-functional LED projector headlamp, delivering powerful illumination, flanked by signature LED daytime running lights. At the rear, the LED tail lamp features a distinctive glitter pattern, enhancing both visibility and style.

The suspension system has been engineered to deliver superior comfort and control. N160 Premium is fitted with champagne-gold 37mm upside-down front forks, while the base model features a telescopic front suspension system. Both variants are equipped with an adjustable Nitrox monoshock at the rear, ensuring a balanced ride on city streets and highways alike. Complementing this setup is a comfortable, well-padded anti-skid dual seat that provides excellent ergonomics for long and short rides.
