People’s Leasing & Finance PLC (PLC), a leading non-bank financial institution and a subsidiary of People’s Bank, has further expanded its branch network with the inauguration of its 112th branch in Dematagoda.
The new branch is centrally located at No. 430, Danister De Silva Mawatha, Colombo 9.
The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of a distinguished gathering, including People’s Leasing Chairman Professor Ajanta Samarakoon, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Sanjeewa Bandaranayake, members of the company’s senior management, branch staff, officials from state institutions and customers.

This opening marks the acceleration of PLC’s strategic expansion programme. Despite the previous limitations on business expansion activities, due to the economic slowdowns stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
