Sri Lanka’s Presidential Special Investigation Committee (PSIC) has invited complaints, views and proposals from the public as it investigates alleged fraud and corruption at state-owned SriLankan Airlines and Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Ltd., the President Media Division (PMD) said in a statement.
The committee was established under Cabinet Decision No. 25/1145/801/018 dated 1 July 2025, following a memorandum submitted by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, to examine past incidents of irregularities at the two entities.
Employees, staff members and the general public can submit information until September 5 via email at [email protected] or WhatsApp at 070-3307700.
Appointments for discussions will be scheduled by the committee.
SriLankan Airlines has faced financial challenges in recent years, including rising debt and operational losses, while Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) has been under scrutiny for management inefficiencies, highlighting ongoing governance concerns in state-run aviation services.
