Omega Line triumphs at CPM SL Management Leadership Excellence Awards 2025

Omega Line, one of Sri Lanka’s largest apparel exporters to Europe, operating under the Oniverse umbrella (formerly Calzedonia), announced that four of its employees have been honoured at CPM Sri Lanka Management Leadership Excellence Awards 2025, further cementing its reputation for cultivating outstanding leadership within the apparel sector. 

Notably, Chief HR Officer Operations Sampath Weerakoon not only emerged winner in the Apparel and Garment Sector – Corporate Management Level but also distinguished himself at a national level by clinching the Overall Bronze Award. This accolade builds on his recent recognition among the Top Most HR Leaders in Asia at the 20th Employer Branding Awards, reaffirming his role as a visionary people strategist not just in apparel but in Sri Lanka’s wider corporate leadership landscape.

His win is also a reflection of Omega Line’s deep-rooted commitment to cultivating leaders who drive innovation, inclusivity and sustainable growth, values that continue to strengthen the company’s reputation as one of Sri Lanka’s most people-focused apparel exporters.

Meanwhile, AGM Production Kanishka Weerasinghe emerged as First Runner-Up, while AGM Production Damien Lekamge and AGM Production Planning Charman Dep were both awarded Second Runner-Up in the same category.
