Soorya partners with Youth Top40 Awards 2025

Dr. Sulochana Segera gives an insight into this year’s Youth Top40 Awards
New Generation Sri Lanka announced Youth Top40 Awards 2025, ignited by Soorya, to be held on June 12, 2025, at Shangri-La Colombo.
This event celebrates the vibrant spirit, talent and potential of young Sri Lankans across diverse fields, recognising their contributions to the country’s progress and development.
This year, the awards introduce a new dimension of impact through a collaborative initiative between Soorya and the Top40 winners, focusing on personality development and mental well-being. This timely intervention aims to support youth in navigating challenges and achieving their life goals with dignity and happy mindfulness.
New Generation Sri Lanka Founder Dr. Sulochana Segera shared, “The Youth Top40 Awards are more than recognition; they are a platform to shape future leaders.”

The 2025 edition will spotlight a wide spectrum of categories, celebrating youth in entrepreneurship, social impact, artificial intelligence and digital innovation, arts, music and culture, start-ups and business innovation, engineering and technology, school leadership, climate action, professional careers, sports excellence, creative thinking and community leadership.
