Official MOU signing between NDB Bank and SLIIT Business School
NDB Bank announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with SLIIT Business School, marking a significant milestone in bridging academia and industry to cultivate the next generation of business professionals.
This strategic alliance aims to enhance knowledge sharing, provide industry-relevant training and offer students invaluable real-world exposure, equipping them with the skills necessary to excel in a dynamic, technology-driven business environment.
The MOU was officially signed by SLIIT Business School Business Faculty Dean Prof. Suren Peters and NDB Bank Vice President Human Resources Lasantha Dasanayaka, in the presence of key representatives from both institutions.
This collaboration will offer students a wealth of opportunities, including internships, training programmes and collaborative research initiatives, fostering innovation and nurturing talent.
This initiative aligns with NDB Bank’s strategic objectives to collaborate with prominent state and private universities in establishing capacity-building programmes. By entering into such partnerships, NDB aims to provide students with industry-relevant training and exposure to its business operations, thereby establishing a network of highly skilled graduates. Additionally, this collaboration enhances NDB’s reputation among academic institutions, students and prospective employees as a leading employer.
