The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS), marking a significant milestone in expanding opportunities for Sri Lankan exporters to access global markets.
FITIS members will gain exclusive access to connect with international buyers and markets through www.fromsriLanka.com, a digital platform initiated by NCCSL. At occasion of signing the agreement Dr. Dayan Rajapakse Chairman FITIS said, “The collaboration aims to foster export growth, enhance competitiveness, and create new avenues for Sri Lankan small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in the ICT sector, to expand globally.
He also said that “FITIS as the apex body representing Sri Lanka’s ICT industry, we are proud to collaborate with the National Chamber to support our members in reaching global audiences, unlocking new growth potential, and contributing to national economic development.”
Speaking on the occasion, Anura Waranakulasooriya, President of NCCSL said this partnership reflects shared commitment to empowering local SMEs by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities needed to succeed in the international marketplace.
Through this collaboration, NCCSL and FITIS reaffirm their dedication to strengthening Sri Lanka’s position in the global trade and technology arena.
