‘My Dentist’ announced the appointment of Dr. Kelum Jayasuriya as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over 25 years of experience in Sri Lanka’s healthcare sector, Dr. Jayasuriya brings a rare combination of clinical leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for accessible healthcare.

This marks a bold and exciting new chapter for My Dentist, as we continue our mission to deliver world-class dental care across the island and in the region. Dr. Jayasuriya’s deep experience in pharmaceuticals, hospital systems, and healthcare governance uniquely positions him to lead My Dentist into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Dr. Jayasuriya has held senior roles at Hemas Hospitals and Asiri Health, where he oversaw pharmacy operations across seven hospitals and led successful international accreditation efforts. He holds multiple academic distinctions, including a Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Management and a Ph.D. (Hon) in Health Sciences presumed to be completed by the end of this year, and is a Gold Medalist from Rajiv Gandhi University.

Beyond his operational leadership, Dr. Jayasuriya is an  educator and advocate, serving on numerous national and international pharmaceutical boards and committees. He has trained thousands of healthcare professionals across Sri Lanka and currently lectures at both KDU and the University of Ruhuna.

With Dr. Kelum at the helm, the company looks forward to expanding world-class dental care across Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and beyond.
