The session brought together over 30 senior IT leaders from some of Sri Lanka’s most prominent private and public sector organisations. Participants included representatives from the telecommunications, manufacturing, government and banking, financial services and insurance sectors. The event focused on the growing need for secure, scalable and intelligent data management in the face of the evolving cyber threats.
“Cyber resilience is not a choice; it is a necessity,” said MillenniumIT ESP Director and Chief Executive Officer Shevan Goonetilleke.
“By partnering with Cohesity, we are empowering our clients to take proactive control of their data security posture. This launch strengthens our collective vision of delivering transformative technologies that matter to enterprises in Sri Lanka.”
The event featured in-depth sessions on Cohesity’s next-generation platforms, which are designed to simplify data protection, enable rapid recovery and defend against ransomware. As cyberattacks become increasingly sophisticated, the discussions highlighted the urgent need for modern data security solutions that combine operational efficiency with AI-powered intelligence.
A senior representative from Cohesity stated, “We are thrilled to officially mark Cohesity’s entry into the Sri Lankan market. Our mission is to redefine how organisations think about data, not as a liability but as a powerful, protected asset. The conversations we had during this event confirm that Sri Lankan enterprises are ready to embrace a more resilient, AI-powered future.”
The agenda included key insights from Cohesity Account Director Brijesh Mishra, who spoke about the company’s strategic partnership with Veritas. This was followed by a comprehensive technology roadmap presented by Cohesity Sales Engineer Aditya Jha.
