Laugfs Holdings appoints Dr. Ravi Edirisinghe as Group MD/CEO

Dr. Ravi Edirisinghe

Laugfs Holdings Limited announced the appointment of Dr. Ravi Edirisinghe as its new Group Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, effective May 2, 2025. 

Dr. Edirisinghe brings over 30 years of distinguished leadership experience across local, multinational and Fortune 500 companies. 

His core expertise include strategic transformation, business turnarounds, leadership development and operational excellence. 

His previous leadership roles include tenures at McLarens Group, GAC Sri Lanka, Sunshine Tea Ltd, Freight Links International, MAS Active (MAS Holdings), Avery Dennison and Impressions Limited. He has also served as a consultant to the Highways Ministry and Science and Technology Ministry in Sri Lanka.

Edirisinghe is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA – UK), a Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA – UK), Chartered Global Management Accountants (CGMA – USA) and Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT – UK). 

He holds an MBA and an MSc in Supply Chain and Logistics.
