LBA holds Int’l Business Networking Meeting  



Lanka Business Alliance Chairman Rifas Jabbar presents Governor Hanif Yusuf with a token of appreciation

The inaugural session of the International Business Networking Meeting, organised by the Lanka Business Alliance (LBA), was held this week at Galadari, Colombo.  

Western Province Governor Hanif Yusuf, who graced the occasion as the guest of honour, inaugurated the event and the forum was attended by delegates from India, Pakistan, Malaysia and Bangladesh, along with distinguished representatives from government regulatory institutions and the local business community. 

Addressing the forum Yusuf emphasised the importance of strengthening business ties and highlighted the significant potential for investment and connectivity in Sri Lanka. He noted that the government has undertaken several initiatives to create an investor-friendly environment and to facilitate ease of doing business in the country. 

The LBA is a dynamic initiative established to foster collaboration among individuals, institutions and corporate sectors in Sri Lanka, with a vision to expand globally. Recognising the pivotal role of networking in today’s competitive business landscape, the LBA aims to create platforms that promote innovation, partnerships and sustainable economic growth.
