In hues of powder blue, blush and muted sage, JEZZA’s ‘Fleur de Gardenia’ unfolded like a slow exhale last week.

Petals translated into pleats, florals reimagined in threadwork, modest silhouettes softened by light-catching satin.

Unveiled at an exclusive fashion showcase last week, the Ramadan Edit drew the audience in look by look, detail by detail. While each piece stood distinct, all carried the familiar JEZZA signature, graceful coverage, fluid movement and unwavering femininity.

Silk organza and satin caught the light with quiet sheen; lace traced sleeves and hems with delicacy rather than drama; intricate embroidery and fine pleating added depth without excess. The silhouettes were unmistakably JEZZA.

The latest collection was more than a seasonal refresh and indicated a subtle expansion. Designed for Iftar evenings and wedding halls, the collection also ventured into formal corporate dressing, where modesty and authority must co-exist.

A handful of evening-ready ensembles in darker tones, richer textures and cleaner cuts suggested a brand testing new terrain while remaining rooted in its identity.

“This collection has been a very special journey for us. From the very beginning — sourcing fabrics, planning designs, testing fits and working through production — every single garment you saw today represents months of dedication, patience and sometimes… controlled chaos behind the scenes,” Creative Director Jeeza Jameel told the audience.

Calling it the first range of its kind at JEZZA, Jameel noted it truly challenged the team as a production house, especially when it came to bespoke-style manufacturing.

“We faced quite a few technical challenges. There were moments where we had to completely rethink how garments were constructed, experiment with new techniques and honestly just trust our instincts. But I’m incredibly proud of how our team pushed boundaries and innovated to bring this collection to life,” she said.

The showcase, staged at One Galle Face Residence, framed the collection against a contemporary urban backdrop, while collaborations with women-led partners across event production, beauty and hijab styling lent cohesion to the visual narrative.

The showcased collections will officially be released in stages over the next few weeks, leading up to the Ramadan festival, where the customers will soon be able to explore and purchase the new Ramadan Edit across JEZZA outlets and selected retail partners.
