JAT Holdings buys New Zealand’s Mirotone to strengthen global coatings portfolio

JAT Holdings PLC yesterday announced it has acquired Mirotone (NZ) Limited, the market leader in industrial wood coatings in New Zealand and a globally respected brand established in 1935. 

The move marks a major step in its global expansion strategy.

With Mirotone’s nine-decade heritage of innovation, technical mastery and international credibility, JAT said it now inherits a company that supplies advanced wood finishing solutions to premium furniture manufacturers, cabinet makers and industrial partners worldwide. The deal also brings cutting-edge R&D capability, strong distribution networks and a portfolio of trusted formulations, positioning JAT to accelerate global product development and scale manufacturing excellence across continents.
