The Great Place To Work For All Summit 2025 concluded successfully after three transformative days of learning, connection, and purpose-driven leadership.

Held recently in Las Vegas, this biennial global summit brought together over 1,600 leaders from more than 500 organizations worldwide, all united by one powerful belief: people-first workplaces are the future of work.

Representatives and clients of Great Place To Work Sri Lanka were among the global community of these changemakers.

Guided by the theme “Connect. Innovate. Lead.”, the summit served as a convergence point for a cross-section of leaders — from global CEOs and HR trailblazers to culture builders and DEI champions.

Among the headline speakers was Jon M. Chu, acclaimed director of “Wicked,” “In The Heights,” and “Crazy Rich Asians,” and author of “Viewfinder: A Memoir of Seeing and Being Seen.” His keynote set the tone for a summit focused on belonging and authentic leadership.

He was joined by a distinguished lineup of influential global leaders, including Dr. Anirudh Devgan, President and CEO ofCadence; Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines; John Pearson, CEO of DHL Express; and Anthony Capuano, President and CEO of Marriott International. Adding further depth to the discussions were Dr. Thomas Ogilvie, Board Member for HR at DHL Group, and Candace Parker, celebrated WNBA champion and Olympic gold medalist, whose perspectives brought a powerful blend of corporate insight and human inspiration to the summit.

The summit also featured leading voices in Ai and ethics, including Dr. Joy Buolamwini, founder of the Algorithmic Justice League; Laura Fuentes of Hilton; Fadzlun Sapandi of DHL Express; Michael C. Bush, Global CEO of Great Place To Work; and Julian Lute, Innovation Strategist at Great Place To Work.

Kshanika Ratnayaka, CEO of Great Place To Work Sri Lanka, reflected on the summit’s significance: “Participating in the Great Place To Work For All Summit™ 2025 was truly empowering. Centering people in business isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s the most transformative. The insights we’ve gained will play a pivotal role as we shape our upcoming Regional Conference in Sri Lanka this September. Adding to this, Michelle Senanayake, Group Chief People and Corporate Communications Officer at Sunshine Holdings, shared: “It was truly inspiring with valuable takeaways. I came away energized, with new ideas and a deeper appreciation for the global movement toward better, more inclusive workplaces.”

Building on the insights from the global summit, Great Place To Work Sri Lanka is to carry the momentum forward by hosting its Regional Conference on September 23rd, 2025.
