Daminda Perera takes helm as Swisstek Group Managing Director

Swisstek (Ceylon) PLC and Swisstek Aluminium Ltd announced the appointment of Daminda Perera as Group Managing Director of both entities, with effect from July 29, 2025.   

The company’s continuous drive towards operational excellence, market leadership and strategic development has reached a major turning point with the appointment of Perera, who has over 20 years of cross-industry experience and a track record of fostering transformational growth. 

In his previous role as Director/CEO, Swisstek achieved outstanding outcomes in terms of brand and financial performance metrics, including a notable increase in market capitalisation and stock value.      

Perera has been instrumental in reinventing Swisstek’s strategic vision and aligning the company’s core values with a revitalised goal of providing superior construction solutions since joining the company. Under his direction, Swisstek Tile Adhesive has become the industry leader in Sri Lanka and Swisstek Aluminium has developed into a major force behind innovation, sustainability and international competitiveness for the entire company.
