Ceylon Chamber announces summit to spotlight SL’s investment potential

  • Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2025 set to kick off in December

Sri Lanka’s potential as an investment destination will come under fresh focus with the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) gearing up to host Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2025.

The event will be held under the theme ‘Gateway to Growth – Asia’s Emerging Opportunity’ and is scheduled to take place on December 2 and 3, at Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.

As Sri Lanka moves from stabilisation to forward-looking reform, the summit will serve as a platform to chart a bold new trajectory for growth. The event will feature a powerful line-up of speakers, including national and international economists, policymakers, investment experts, private sector leaders and senior officials from state institutions.

Across two dynamic days, the participants will explore how Sri Lanka can unlock its full economic potential – advancing reforms, driving exports, attracting quality investment and positioning itself as a compelling player in the Asian growth story. From macroeconomic insights to sector-specific strategies, the agenda will cover critical issues shaping Sri Lanka’s future, including green infrastructure, education, logistics, tourism and export diversification.

Day one will provide a comprehensive overview of Sri Lanka’s macroeconomic landscape and spotlight emerging growth sectors. Day two will focus on investment, with key sessions examining the investment climate, domestic investor confidence and evolving opportunities at Port City Colombo. The summit will conclude with B2B meetings and sector hubs designed to foster direct connections between investors, businesses and industry leaders.

“With Sri Lanka at the threshold of a new economic chapter, Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2025 is a must-attend platform for those seeking to engage with one of the region’s most promising reform stories,” the CCC said.
