CALH.N makes strong market entry with 70% price gain

Capital Alliance Holdings Limited (CALH.N) made a strong debut on the Colombo Stock Exchange yesterday, recording the highest number of trades and a staggering 70 percent gain in share price by market close.

The shares of the entity, which delivers comprehensive capital market solutions, including debt and equity services, across frontier markets, are listed under the Diversified Financials sector on the Main Board.

Investor appetite was evident from the opening bell, with CALH.N posting the highest volume of shares traded for the day, a total of 3.98 million. The demand drove notable price appreciation, positioning CAL Holdings as the standout performer in yesterday’s session.

At the end of the trading session, the close price was Rs.17.
