Browns Group’s Agstar exits export arm with Rs. 35.3 mn deal

Agstar PLC, a subsidiary of the Browns Group under LOLC Holdings, announced that it has divested its entire shareholding in Agstar Exports (Pvt) Ltd.

As the sole shareholder, Agstar PLC sold all 4,500,000 ordinary shares in Agstar Exports on 14 August 2025. 

In a filing to the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) this week, Agstar PLC said the shares were transferred to Dassanayake Epage Prasanna Sampath Dassanayake and Nawarathne Mudiyanselage Kapugedara Ishara Thilini Nawarathne for a total consideration of Rs. 35,300,000.
