Brandix Corporate Campus invests in A/L students

  • To build next generation of apparel leaders

Brandix Corporate Campus (BCC), Sri Lanka’s premier apparel-focused higher education institute, launched a comprehensive scholarship and student support framework for post-Advanced Level students, aimed at widening the talent pool and raising the calibre of students entering the apparel industry.

Three merit-based scholarships are offered to recognise high-potential students both inside and outside the classroom. The top-tier is awarded to applicants who achieve outstanding A/L results and demonstrate excellence in sports and co-curricular activities at provincial or national level. In addition to full tuition coverage, the scholarship includes a guaranteed Graduate Trainee opportunity at Brandix Apparel Solutions, assuring a seamless transition from classroom to career.

Two additional half-scholarships are also awarded to students who achieve strong A/L results or demonstrate notable excellence in sports and extra-curricular activities alongside their academic performance.

In addition to merit scholarships, BCC has also introduced a structured achievement-based discount framework offering benefits of up to Rs.300,000. This framework recognises a broad range of accomplishments, including performance at O/L and A/L examinations, as well as participation in sports, student societies and leadership roles. Achievements will be assessed through a transparent points-based system. To further strengthen industry engagement, the framework also includes family-based discounts for students connected to the JAAF member organisation.

This scholarship framework applies to the two flagship programmes offered by Brandix Corporate Campus: Advanced Diploma in Fashion, Apparel and Textiles and Diploma in Fashion Design.

Sri Lanka’s apparel industry continues to remain one of the country’s largest export sectors, operating within globally competitive supply chains. As industry requirements evolve, demand for technically competent and professionally qualified talent is on the rise. BCC’s scholarship framework has been developed in response to this need, with a clear focus on widening access, strengthening the talent pipeline and developing future-ready professionals.

As the sector prepares for a more complex and technology-driven future, BCC is strengthening its talent pipeline by identifying and nurturing students who demonstrate academic excellence alongside leadership and extracurricular achievement. The initiative reflects the campus’ belief that success in the modern apparel industry requires well-rounded individuals – not just technical competence.

A fully-owned subsidiary of Brandix Lanka (Pvt.) Limited and backed by over 30 years of experience and industry expertise, BCC has been at the forefront of apparel and fashion education in Sri Lanka. Specialising in clothing technology courses, BCC caters to both school leavers aspiring to enter the industry and professionals looking to advance their skills. With a strong focus on industry-relevant education, hands-on training and innovative teaching methods, BCC continues to strengthen its reputation as a premier institution, delivering programmes that combine academic learning with real-world exposure. Its commitment to global partnerships with institutions such as RMIT University in Australia, ensures that graduates are equipped with the expertise needed to excel in the dynamic global apparel sector.
