Astoria relief for students affected by floods

A community relief programme, to distribute school gear along with books for the children below the age of 10 belonging to families affected by recent floods, was held by the Astoria team this month. 
The team comprising of locals and Chinese employees visited Vidyadeepa PirivenaJaela- Makevita - Mabima for the programme.   AVIC International Hotels Lanka Ltd distributed exercise books and other items needed for school to 300 students with the support of Mabima Vidyadeepa Pirivena Chief Incumbent Ven Nabadagaswewa Sirisumana Thera. One of its many corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects, the corporate giant, AVIC Sri Lanka had the pleasure of organising the programme together with Gampaha Madagama Grama Niladhari Officer and Astoria CSR Programmes Coordinator Sujith Bombuwala.


Both Chinese and Sri Lankan officers of the Management Consultancy Committee 
of Astoria took time off their busy schedule to participate in the event.
