Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd., recently conducted the second session of its Drug Prevention Awareness Programme at Hemamali Maha Vidyalaya, Galahitiyawa, Ganemulla, reaching over 350 students with vital knowledge on early prevention and healthy decision-making.
This initiative is part of a broader series aimed at empowering Sri Lankan youth to make informed choices and lead healthier lives. The session was conducted by Dr. Rasika Bandara, Chairman of the Mathin Thora Deshayak Godanagamu Project, and was supported by staff from Allianz’s Ja-Ela branch.
Through interactive and informative discussions, the program focused on helping students recognize early warning signs, understand the physical and psychological risks of drug use, and develop the confidence to resist peer pressure and negative influences.
Allianz Insurance Lanka Ltd. said it has placed children at the heart of its CSR initiatives for the year—recognizing that the future of the nation rests in the hands of its youngest citizens.
