Aberdeen Holdings honoured at Presidential Environment Awards

 Aberdeen Holdings, a diversified conglomerate operating across seven industries in Sri Lanka, continues to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability and responsible business practices across all its subsidiaries. 

This dedication was recognized at the 11th Annual Presidential Environment Awards 2025, held on October 23 at BMICH under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. 

Three of the Group’s companies - Neptune Papers (Pvt) Ltd, Ex-Pack Corrugated Cartons PLC, and Ruhunu Farms (Pvt) Ltd were honoured among the nation’s leading contributors to environmental excellence.

Neptune Papers (Pvt) Ltd received the Silver Award for its leadership in recycling and advancing Sri Lanka’s circular economy. 

Ex-Pack Corrugated Cartons PLC received a Merit Award for its consistent commitment to sustainability and responsible manufacturing.  

Ruhunu Farms (Pvt) Ltd, a prominent name in Sri Lanka’s egg production industry, was also presented with a Merit Award for its sustainable and energy-efficient farming operations. Its modern facilities in Hambantota have expanded production capacity while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, and resource management. 

Together, these honours reflect the values that define Aberdeen Holdings, where sustainability, innovation, and ethical leadership form the foundation of every business within its diversified portfolio.
