Disabled war heroes, war widows, dependents and ex-servicemen are expected to be vaccinated with the Sinopharm vaccines which will arrive in Sri Lanka on Saturday as a donation by the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China, the Defence Ministry said.
They said 300,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccines will arrive in Sri Lanka on Saturday following a request made by the Defence Secretary Gen. Kamal Gunaratne to the Chinese Defence Minister General Wei Fenghe, during his official visit to Sri Lanka in April this year.
The consignment of Sinopharm vaccines will arrive in the island on a SriLankan Airlines flight on Saturday as a Military Assistance to the Sri Lankan Armed Forces from PRC.
The Sri Lankan Defence Secretary will officially receive the consignment of vaccine from the Chinese Embassy Officials in Sri Lanka, at the Bandaranaike International Airport, on its arrival.

People's Liberation Army from China? What about the Uyghurs? China has no shame, just like Sri Lanka: acknowledging the Taliban. Shame on you all!

No surprise to see such a silly comment from an EUROPEAN. Hurt by the donation to our army and heroes?

Sahan: you must be really ignorant to fall for this charme offensive of China.
