The SJB seems to be becoming utterly desperate in advance of their impending oblivion. It seems as though he has dreamt up some hitherto unarticulated quick fixes to repair the economy. It is about time they voice their pipedreams publicly or just shut up, rather than criticizing his former leader for not delivering immediately using some sort of a magic wand. Perhaps he may now be realising that Harin and Manusha may have made a smarter decision after all.

Give Ranil some time, he is tactfully handling the situation as he has only SLPP support in parliament. He seems to be moving in the right direction as far as the economy is concerned. Country's situation is still in dire straits lets not push it further back, just give ranil some time.

RW is the fox we never want around. He is already sitting illegally as the leader of the country - not chosen by the people but by those corrupt pohottuwas. The constitutional loopholes are just there for him to survive. His main duties as the President are to attend funerals and has begun to kill democracy with his daily gazette notification.

Tell him to remind people about the atrocities committed by his father. With your big talk, you came to power in 2014, but people chased you away in 2020. @gamini Cost of living will reduce once money printed is pulled down. As long as there is the over large military contingent being paid the inflation will keep going up. Attacking about HSZ is pushing against the defence forces, as they are the main beneficiary of the new project. They are likely getting even higher allowances, which again happens with printed money, so keeps ratcheting up inflation when they spend their ill-gotten wages. Ill-gotten whether they know or not is through money printing!

@Paternal relationship Sadly another well known phenomena, the self-serving middle aged and elderly will try to take charge of any ongoing concern run by the young and naive. I am glad I am wiser for being middle aged, but know people my age group and older are far more cunning than the trusting and idealist young. I have seen enough of my age group take advantage of the younger people in business, management and in politics all the too much.
