The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) requested the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) and all mobile operators to activate or restore all social media platforms immediately.
The PUCSL is unable to inform the consumers of electricity, declared as an essential service, about impending power cuts, the PUCSL said.

This shows the breakdown in government communication. What a disaster! All communications from government bodies should go through Presidents Office. Dont they understand need to come across as one? Shows utter lack of management skills from President.
