Serious violation of civil rights and if the rulers does not stop this aggressive policy some extremism will propergate what will give rice to under ground resistance movements. Public opinion can not be buried it needs skilled negotiations to bring the disputed parties together before civil War breaks out where sabotage can cost the national wealth an awful lot.

Due to the insufficient training and the opinion that they are above the law, the fat police officers not only act insensitively, but also unconstitutionally and thus paralyze the judiciary of the country. Any violation of human rights by these politicized boot-licking police officers must result in immediate suspension without pay and a court case. Since these acts were committed while on duty, the corresponding penalties must be higher like it happens in other countries

Waste of time of court and public funds. Why not allow the protestors to shout their slogans. When they are tired they will leave. Police by trying to hold candles for the government are exposing their poor crowd handling to the whole world

Save our policemen Tuesday, 15 November 2022 03:49 PM

The way Hirunika chased away the Rajapakse family, we thought she is the only MAN in SJB. But now it looks she is still a woman. She hugs even elderly policemen tarnishing their chastity in front cameras. We saw eligible young policemen and Policewomen running away from her, because they too shy to stand near her. SLHRC please save our policemen's dignity and save their family life.

Do the citizen a favor and keep her locked up till the election is over so we can get some peace. People don't have anything to eat or drink, and to hear this woman screaming on top of all this is unbearable.

I think Hirunika enjoys a bit of rough treatment. I certainly do once in a while!
