Appointment of UNP Dy. Leader postponed

The appointment of UNP Deputy Leader was postponed, while senior UNPer Joseph Michael Perera was re-appointed as Assistant Leader at the party’s Working Committee meeting held at the ‘Sirikotha’ party headquarters this evening.

At the meeting another senior UNPer Gamini Jayawickrama Perera was appointed as Chairman while Tissa Attanayake was reappointed as General Secretary. Senarat Kapukotuwa was appointed as Treasurer and Daya Gamage as National Organizer. MP Lakshamn Kiriella was re-appointed as the Vice President of the party.(KB)
