Five Sri Lankans allegedly broke into a medical store in Jumeirah and stole three laptops, the Dubai Criminal Court heard. The accused, identified as OMB, 22, clerk, AMR, 30, office boy, MSF, 21, salesman, and MAM,25, store keeper, are also charged with destroying two safes.

Three Civil Defence Force officers on a motorcycle collided head-on with a lorry at Pitakumbura in Bibile a short while ago. Three officers had been on the motorcycle when the accident occured.Two motorcyclists died on the spot while the other was admitted to the Badulla Hospital in a serious condition.
