Universities closed until further notice

If I am the minister I would have closed this 25 years ago.this is the problem in the free education. If any of these students are paying from there pockets they won't let this happen and will be very serious in there studies like in the western world.
In 25 years time we will keep on seeing the same news thuggery / assault/ ect

The FUTA is responsible for this, their unruly strike has ultimately cost university students their education.

This struggle of the academics is so formidable that the fragmented state cannot answer the real issues. It is easy to close but resolving the crisis is the duty of the state. We need a government that can function without delaying the solutions.

This is an easy way out to get out of responsibilities. Just shut it down and the problem will be solved. Try to solve the problem as quickly as possible by listening to what they are saying and taking corrective action.

Very good. If the university lecturers are trying to act as hooligans it is better to get a new set of respectable university lecturers. There are some retired good lecturers and newly passed out graduates who will do justice to the free education system of Sri Lanka.
