This anger and intolerance is the very antithesis of Buddhism. But I guess Sri Lankan Buddhism (a "born again" Buddhism, maybe) is now established as essentially violent. We can only hope and pray for the blessings of the Triple Gem.

The government and the buddhists priests must take care of a few extremists buddhists who are all out to create trouble. We do not want this after all the suffering in the war of 30 years that has finally ended.

* Stay away from provocative situations that trigger anger. A situation that made you angry should not be pursued but try to divert your attention to other things that can pacify anger
