Ten trains cancelled: Control Room

Ten trains had been cancelled because of several locomotive engineers not reporting to work, the Railway Control Room said.

Several train services along the main line and the coastal line were cancelled.

The Control Room said the train services from Colombo Fort to Polgahawela, Mirigama, Ragama, Maradana to Aluthgama and Maradana to Moratuwa were cancelled.

However, other long distance railway services would operate as usual, the Control Room said. (Chaturanga Pradeep)
