SLBFE fake website: 97 complaints received
The Criminal Investigate Department (CID) had received 97 complaints regarding a fake web site, which had been as the web page of the Sri 
Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau, the Police said today.A man and his wife along with the web developer were arrested by the CID for swindling over Rs. 16 million by maintaining the fake web site on the assurance of offering jobs in Korea last Friday.
Colombo Chief Magistrate remanded the suspect man and his wife till June 16. The web developer was released on two sureties of Rs. 5 million each.
The Police had requested those who had been cheated by the suspects to call the CID on 011-2320145 and lodge complaints.(DS & (LSP)
