Chairman slc says its time to move on; havent other political nominees being saying the same thing ... for several years.Bring Arjuna back I say; he has guts even though he didnt do much running "in between i say?
Sri Lanka has had several coaches in an equal amount of years no wonder even the players cannot concentrate with all these changes. But there is admiration for the t eam who have to play under these conditions where politics rules rather than sport.

How can one expect a coach to be effective and show results in just 5 months?

Any payment the persons responsible should be made to pay. It is Ford who benefited from Marsh's 4 months coaching
PGA Wednesday, 23 May 2012 06:52 AM
It was Australian Geoff Lawson who coached Pakistan, not Geoff Marsh...

Coach 's role is not playing the for the team on the filed...It is only devoloping and sharping the skills exisit in players.

UNDER HIS COACHING SRILANKA WON A TEST MATCH AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA.DID ANY OTHER COACHERS MANAGED TO DO?
dan Wednesday, 23 May 2012 04:43 AM
only mr and his goons can coach sl cricket team...Mr, March i think you should best get employed somewhere else. Like West Indies Cricket board, SL Cricket is so corrupted. Thank you for being the coach even for the short period. Some of these goons will go so low so you better be watchful. SL cricket is now a band of mercenaries who does match fixing and big talk shows. No display of talented cricket.
Look at Sanga, Malinga, Mathews, Mahela...all are now reduced to mercinaries of IPL and other committee's goons. if you pay them enough $ i bet you can hire them for a local county match and pay more and you can fix matches as well.
DUWI Wednesday, 23 May 2012 04:40 AM
Under Marsh, the SL Cricket team looked listless, aimless and lacking in motivation. Pakistan too suffered the same fate under Marsh.
I think the real difference that Ford has brought to the cricket team is the hunger to win.
