President Mahinda Rajapaksa will visit India this month as reported, to lay the foundation stone for a Buddhist Education Centre in Sanchi, Presidential Spokesman Bandula Jayasekara said responding to a query by the Daily Mirror.

Politics in Tamil Nadu and Madya Pradesh is pole apart, Jayalalitha is childish, and it is now too late for her to go back to school as well. Why doesn't she stop flights between TN and Colombo, I bet, there would be protests from her own people who make money here.

It is a mistake by India and an insult to Lord Buddha to allow MR lay foundation stones in the name of Buddhism. Buddhism is the practice of honesty, humanity, mindfulness, ethics, consciousness etc....all of which the opposite is practiced by MR. Being ardent worshipper of Lord Buddha for the sake of gaining publicity is one thing and practicing buddhism on its true principles is another.

As long as he is not visiting tamil nadu , he should be ok. after all the warning is for tamil nadu only.
BTW , do not think about going to australia in any case. Preparations are underway there to send back any body arriving of late back to srilanka without asking questions. You might alos get trapped into that trap. Otherwise take care for your third term and so on ..
