Water cannons, tear gas are not the way to deal with the causes that make people protest. The grievances must be addressed and REASONABLE relief should be granted. After all they are all Citizens of Srilanka who make thier professional contributions and pay their taxes one way or the other.

students are protesting not because of they don't have anything to do. Government has closed the universities and trying to destroy the fre education system. being blocked for an hour or two is not the problem. Government is trying to block the future of the country.
