Police hunt Wele Suda's money launderers

Four people suspected to have aided and abetted notorious drug kingpin Gampola Vidanage Samantha Kumara alias ‘Wele Suda’ to launder large sums of money earned through the narcotics trade are being wanted by the police.

Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said police have received detailed reports of the four suspects of whom two are women, who are at large since last year.

All four suspects were identified as those from the Wellawatte, Dehiwela and Kirulapone areas where Wele Suda was chiefly operating from.
