Police dismiss anonymous claim

An anonymous petition received by the Police Department states that a Deputy Inspector General (DIG) serving in the North was alleged to have been displaying pornographic visuals on a computer to a women police constable (WPC).When contacted, the police spokesman today confirmed the receipt of such a petition.
“But it appears that no such incident had taken place,” he said adding that no official investigation had been launched into the incident.
