Why stop during the exposition. Is one religion of less value than the other. He shouldnt have gotten involved in this sensitive subject. WE are still healing after the 3 decade war. Each should have the liberty to practice their own religion. I remember, him stating that SL is a multi cultural country a few months back. Where does freedom of religion go? This is a tool for the NGO's to harp on at international forums against human rights , freedom of religion and so on. Let em practice theirs and we practice ours is what he should have stated.

What happens once the Kapilavastu relics return to India? Will the president allow the animal sacrifice to resume? Does the President eat meat? If he doe he has no moral authority to rule on this matter except for political expediency.Looks like if we can we keep the relics on a permanent basis lots of goats and chickens will have a longer life.
