Is there are constitutional mandate for a National executive council? No parliamentary approval has been obtained for this council and the people have not given their mandate for such a council since this was not in the election manifesto of the president. This is something proposed by JVP, which was not a party that backed the president. What is the legality of decision made by NEC?
