Man drowns during search for drowned youth

A 16 year old drowned last evening while another 34 year old man, who went looking for the youth also drowned at the Galle Face beach, Police said.    

The youth had gone missing while swimming with his friends last evening. The 34 year old man who was also from Maligawatta was with a search party which included the Police and Navy when he drowned.
