Maheepala tops Kegalle list

Former Sabargamuwa chief minister Maheepala Herath has topped the preferential vote list in the Kegalle district securing 84,223 votes. Dushmantha Mitrapala has obtained the second place with 36,285 votes. Tusitha Wijemanna topped the UNP Kegalle district list .

Kegalle town and district will continue to suffer under Maheepala. He is a redneck politician with no love for the community. Kegalle town creates the biggest traffic jams in the country. I wonder why this politician had done nothing about this traffic congestion in the past. The reelection of this incompetent and corrupted political goon will be a severe loss for true democracy. I don't understand why people voted this fool, when they know by experience, that Kegalle has no growth prospects under his leadership. Bleak future for Kegalle and my message for people is to feel nothing but hopelessness.

I think Dusmantha Mithrapala should bring up.. His farther also doing very hounarable politics in Kegalla district. Also one of the senior politicians who entered to politics before others in the district.
