Ex-Minister, top army officer involved?
The son of M.S.M Niyaz (alias Loku Seeya, and a former kapuwa of Ragama Devalaya) has lodged a complaint with the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources, and Privileges (PRECIFAC) that his father’s killing had taken place with the knowledge of a former minister and a top army official.The son, M.N.M. Hijaz (alias Chooty Seeya), had said in his complaint that he had received information that state property had been used for the abduction and killing and requested that an investigation be made.
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is also investigating the killing. (Sujith Hewajulige)
