Khurshid assures help to arrested journalist in SL

India's Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid, said that the union government would extend all possible help to arrested journalist in Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan police has arrested a freelance Indian journalist, Prabhakaran, for clicking pictures of sensitive installations on a tourist visa. He is being questioned in Colombo.

The Indian envoy has been informed of the developments. Sri Lankan police revealed that an Indian national was arrested on charges of filming a military installation in Kilinochchi, stronghold of former Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).(ANI News)
