IUSF convenor Sanjeewa Bandara who was arrested last evening was remanded till Septemebr 25, by the Colombo Fort Magistrate on charges of damaging state property. (Lakmal Sooriyagoda)

Democracy in our motherland is questionable. 100% Democracy should be achieved to move civilized society forward to get real development of the country. Otherwise productive time of the people in the county is just a waste of time.

He knows that he doesn't have future with govt sector. Even private sector won't absorb this sort arrogant indiscipline persons in their cadre.The only way out for him is to go against the govt and depending on NGO dollars. So the uni undergraduates and their parents should now realize their own
well being and act sensibly.
