Why are the muslims getting their knickers in a twist - one lunatic in the US makes an offensive video and that doesn't mean it's what 300million Americans think or what the US government believes. The muslims ought to focus on the fact of getting ripped off by their own leaders in the east of this country.

There have been insults to other religions as well, at various times through cheap books, paintings, films etc. Why is it that when it happens to Islam that there is such mass rabid & fanatical reaction by many misguided elements of the religion. The truth and honour of the teachings of a religion can never be degraded in anyway.

Buddha image and picture is used in bars, ladies underware, slippers etc,. who cares, you cant stop it. To Buddhist, the image is impregnant in the mind. no body can harm that image- thats dhamma way to react- muslims must learn it

An extremely unnecessary and unislamic act of Muslims to give popuarity to a low-budget insulting film. Protests and harthals are unislamic way of dealing with such issues. Muslims can hold public lectures and distribute reading materials to increase awareness of the fact.

Ridiculous! non of this makes sense anymore. Even if the video is offensive (Although I found it to be purely 'Stupid' and a cheap piece of nonsense) I don't see why we need to have harthal in SL. Plus, the video was uploaded by a certain individual. In a democratic society freedom of speech is pivotal no matter how it may offend another person's view point. I think it's time people realize this and try not to over react in the name of "Islam".
